Why Go Bankrupt?
There are two options in bankruptcy.
One is informal agreements, Part IX Debt Agreements, Part X Personal Insolvency Agreements (PIAs) and Annulment. All of these involve negotiations with creditors, and the Trustee acts in the interest of the creditors.
The other option is Bankruptcy. Bankruptcy generally is a clearer and definite option with no negotiations with creditors, and the debtor can plan their future recovery.
